RISK ASSESSMENT

This Pinnacle Open Learning package is designed to increase the students’ understanding of all aspects of risk assessment. It is believed that the benefits of undertaking this course are great in terms of personal development and in increasing an awareness of all issues surrounding risk assessment.

Course Delivery

Candidates enrolling on the course are issued with a course manual. This is read and a work based project completed in the candidates’ own time. This is forwarded to Pinnacle for assessment. On completion of the project candidates are issued with a Pinnacle certificate providing proof of training.

SAFETY PRACTICES IN THE CARE SETTING

This course equips students with the knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety issues surrounding Risk Assessment, COSHH and Manual Handling.

Candidates will study theoretical aspects as well as engaging in the practice and processes involved in risk assessment and manual handling.
